I am a 1993 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school I served on the The South Carolina Law Review as the research editor. I also worked for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee Robert F. Anderson in Columbia, South Carolina.

Since graduating from law school, I have represented over a thousand clients facing a variety of challenging financial problems. I enjoy helping families through their financial struggles.

I am a member of both the Michigan Bar and the South Carolina Bar and am admitted to the District Court for the Western District of Michigan and to the District Court for the District of South Carolina. I am a member of NACBA, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association. I am also a contributing author for the Bankruptcy Law Network, a blog authored by bankruptcy attorneys all over the country.

I live in Summerville with my wife and three daughters and am active in civic organizations which allow me to give back to the community.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I hope you will find the information helpful.  I look forward to the opportunity of helping you if you need help with your financial problems.  Whether it’s filing bankruptcy or some other solution, I’ll do my best to help you through this difficult time.  I can be reached by phone at (843) 875-7933 and by email at russ@wyckoffdemott.com.
